About Cookin' For a Cause
Welcome back, we may look a little different but our support of Thyra M. Humphreys Center for Breast Health remains the same! Evangelical Community Hospital Foundation is hosting Cookin’ for a Cause , where chefs turn up the heat on breast cancer awareness by creating culinary delights for people to enjoy while raising funds to support Thyra M. Humphreys Center for Breast Health.
The event will be held 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, October 17, at Rusty Rail Brewing Company in Mifflinburg.

Every October Evangelical Community Hospital celebrates National Breast Cancer Awareness month with Cookin' Men. This event is widely anticipated each year by sponsors, participating chefs, and many members of the community. Unfortunately, an in-person event is not possible this year due to the pandemic. We are still focused on raising funds to support patients of the Thyra M. Humphreys Center for Breast Health and welcome you to the 2020 Cookin' Men Online Chef Challenge! All funds raised will be used to provide diagnostic and screening mammograms and ultrasounds for uninsured and underinsured patients.

Top Chef Contest
Vote for your favorite chef to help them win the honorary title of "Top Chef." The Cookin' Men chef(s) who raise the most in donations for Evangelical's Center for Breast Health will be named "Top Chef" and receive the coveted Pink Whisk Award.
Last year, Rick Schuck was named "Top Chef" for raising $24,100 for Thyra M. Humphreys Center for Breast Health!
Pink Flair Award
Last year in 2023, Ken Jusko, DO was awarded the "Pink Flair Award" for the most creative and decorated station!
